1. Donations are voluntary gifts
A donation to Shri Hari Hive is a voluntary charitable contribution, not a purchase. You receive no goods or services in return. Because donations are put to work quickly — feeding and treating the dogs, and building their sanctuary — they are generally non-refundable once made.
2. When we will refund
We understand genuine mistakes happen. We will review and, where appropriate, refund a donation in cases such as:
- A duplicate payment (you were charged more than once for the same intended gift).
- An incorrect amount entered by mistake (for example, an extra zero).
- A technical error where money left your account but the donation did not complete correctly.
- An unauthorised transaction you can reasonably demonstrate.
3. How to request a refund
Contact us within 7 days of the transaction with:
- the date and amount of the donation,
- the UPI reference / transaction ID (from your bank or UPI app), and
- a short note on what went wrong.
Reach us by email at param@shriharihive.com or on WhatsApp.
4. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method / account used for the donation. We aim to process valid refund requests within 7–10 business days of verifying the details. Any bank or gateway charges may be deducted where applicable.
5. Cancellations
A one-time donation cannot be “cancelled” once completed — please use the refund process above. If, in future, we offer recurring (monthly) giving, you will be able to cancel future payments at any time by contacting us, and the cancellation will apply to payments not yet taken.
6. Receipts
If you would like a receipt for your donation, just ask using the contact details below and we will send one.
