Setting the record straight: where the work is today

Earlier versions of this site described a 15,000 sq ft campus in Mohali with a langar hall under construction. That was wrong, and we are sorry for it. Here is the truth, plainly.

Since 2021 the founders have fed, rescued and treated street dogs across Delhi NCR — over a hundred every day now — largely from their own income. Injured dogs are picked up and treated; the sickest are nursed in the family's own home; every one of them goes back to its own street once it is strong. Shree Hari Hive Foundation was registered in July 2026 so that this no longer rests on one family.

There is no land yet. Acquiring it, near Mohali in Punjab, is the first milestone of a five-year plan. The campus described on this site — shelters, a medical unit, a langar hall, quiet huts — is that plan, not a place. Read how it started, and one dog's story told in the founder's own words.

What one month of this work actually costs

Feeding and treating over a hundred street dogs across Delhi NCR costs roughly ₹4,00,000 (₹4 lakh) every month — food, medical support, rescue-related expenses and other ongoing needs. That figure does not include the campus, which does not exist yet; the land is the first thing that donations beyond the monthly need will go towards.

Donations are now open by UPI

You can now donate directly. Pay by UPI to shreeharihivefoundation2296@aubiz — the payee will show as Shree Hari Hive Foundation, which is our registered name. On a phone you can tap an amount on the support page and your UPI app fills in the rest; on a computer you can scan the QR code there.

Shri Hari Hive is now a registered Section 8 non-profit

Shree Hari Hive Foundation was granted its licence under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (Licence No. 187747), and is registered on NGO DARPAN with ID PB/2026/1141113. Shri Hari Hive is the public name of that foundation.

In practical terms: donations now go to a registered non-profit rather than an individual, and the accounts are auditable. 80G tax-exemption is still in process — until it is granted we do not claim that donations are tax-deductible, and we will say so here the day that changes.
